Blood; a poem

Bring that war to me

And I’ll show you what blood can do.

I’ll show you how it runs faster than life.

It’s loveless sometimes,but it’s righteous in most.

But when it’s bumping with some holy hope, you better learn to pray.

You better learn truth because it won’t have time to teach you.

You better learn about life before it forgets that you’re supposed to be alive.

Bring that war to me

And you’ll regret in scarlet

in hemoglobin

and everything
