Reconciliation ; a poem.

I want my love on roof top edges and long before the street lights come on

So that we have everything to lose and all the time to lose it.

I want “I love you’s” that make the world listen.

I want that love that makes the world hear again.

I want a Holy Matrimony explosion.

I want “I do’s” to mean “never again”.

I want that “honey I’m home,” face. You know, the one you come home to. The one that you’ll always come home to.

I want the land to recognize this

To see that this is something to be reckoned with.

I want you to see that we’ve got something to be reckoned with

and that we are a reconciliation
